About the Event
Weekend Residential Pottery Courses
Our weekend residential courses run for 3 days and 2 nights. This workshop is designed for intermediate-level potters.
The course aims to give you the skills and techniques to dramatically improve your pottery throwing. We will focus on different ways of centring the clay and on how to position yourself so that you can increase the amount of clay you work with to around double what you are currently able to handle.
The course will also explore ways to pull up the clay and challenge it to its full potential, giving you the knowledge needed to further your career as a potter. The aim of the weekend is to provide you with a set of skills and knowledge that you can use and adapt to suit your needs and current work.
