Title: LOVE.
 
Closely connected organic white porcelain vessels, fixed and positioned on a natural Portland stone plinth.
 
When approaching the sculptures it looks as if they are embracing each other. The larger of the two sculptures has been hand crafted so that its indentation within it’s upper body fits perfectly in unison with the smaller sculpture.
 
By working on two sculptures at the same time, it has been possible to mould them so they fit into each other perfectly as one being. There are delicately hand carved small indentation running  across the body of the sculptures. These carvings symbolise the journey of life with its twist and turns.
 
When light is casted over the natural hand sculptured surfaces it enhances the textures and carvings whilst also giving the illusion of two bodies embracing each other.

The sculpture is part of my collection LIFE that was done for the exhibition at Collect in Somerset House with Contemporary Applied Art.
